Therapeutic Yoga for Pickleball - Shoulder, Elbow and Wrist Session
Pickleball can wreak havoc on the shoulder, elbow and wrist. Epicondilytis, or 'tennis elbow' in particular, has curbed me and some of my friends in our capacity to play fully and frequently. Unsatisfied with feeling handicapped by the tenderness, I have turned all that I know about functional movement and physical rehab to hack into this condition and heal it. The results have been extremely positive. A lessening of symptoms on and off the court and better play. It turns out using the shoulder girdle well and supporting it with the internal and external core muscles is self-protective and creates a more powerful and controlled swing. This mini-class highlights some of the salient points from my exploration process, shared with a small group of student-friends who have reported back that it’s making a difference in their lives too.
Join our four week virtual course starting Nov. 6 and share the the link with your friends across the country so they can learn too! All classes will be recorded, so even if you can’t attend live, you can benefit from them and replay as many times as you like!
